ANZAC day 2020

                                                    ANZAC Day 2020...

Growing up I didn't really celebrate Anzac Day, because I did not live here in New Zealand.
So this year was really cool to finally celebrate traditionally here in NZ.

The first thing I did was learnt the reason behind Anzac Day and what ANZAC stands for.  Some things I learnt was ANZAC stands for Australia New Zealand Army Corps, and the Poppy's stand for them fighting in a poppy field.  The Anzac cookies were for the soldiers to eat. The soldier parents made the cookies for them and sent them off to them, because there wasn't much food around, plus the cookies had a lot of energy in them.

On Anzac Day I made some Anzac cookies and we went for a walk in the park, with my dog.
Unfortunately we didn't do much, because we had to isolate.

I hope you had a great ANZAC Day!
